Here’s the concept: A choose your own adventure story, written through Tumblr! Where everyone writes a paragraph of two and then reblogs. (for everyone’s sake please try and add a ‘read more’ so that there isn’t a repetitive long post going around.

How to play:

We’ll start the story off with a little intro. If you see this post on your dashboard, read through the story and then add your own little piece. You can add as many pieces to as many stories as you want, just make sure at least one person has written something between your own. 

At the end, we’ll gather everything up, find any loose ends or unfinished stories, and finish them. Then we’ll publish a PDF of all the stories along with the names of who wrote what. This’ll be in a choose your own adventure style.

The game will go on for as long as we feel it needs to. Basically until there’s so many branching stories it becomes overwhelming. 

Rules:

Only 1-2 paragraphs per writer per section.

At the start of your section, add whatever name you want to appear on the final project. Put anonymous if you don’t want to be credited. If nothing is written we will use your tumblr username.

Ok, so the Rick we know and love is the ‘original’ Rick. Like from universe #1.
And so back before there were many universes, Rick was just a normal scientist who left his family to pursue it. Then he decides to return home after feeling empty yadayada (thus the memory of Morty learning to walk when we’re told that Rick only recently came back into their lives).
Then, one night something bad happens while Rick is babysitting and Morty dies. Thus enters sad mode Rick
Dirven by grief he takes to drinking and starts to work on building an alternant universe where Morty is still alive. But, the machine malfunctions and creates endless numbers of universes.
So Rick decides to go into an alternant universe where everything is the same but the Rick never came back to his family. And this is why this Rick is so different than the others and the counsel and all. (Also Maybe his Morty didn’t die or something and is the Morty from the end of s1, and why he needed original Rick for his plan)
Sorry for the wall of text just had to write it down (also may turn this into a fan fiction in ALL my free time)

honestly being a classics student is so great bc you can get away with all kinds of shit just by calling it “part of ur lessons.” got really drunk one night and were too hungover to come to class? you were just studying the revels of dionysus and wanted to see how the ancients experienced them. got caught drawing a dick on the wall somewhere? well you see it’s art based off of roman graffiti, you’re just reconstructing it for others to see and learn from it. murdered someone out in the woods? he stumbled upon your reenactment of a bacchanalia so that’s on dionysus again, haha that scamp

People talk about how hard long distance relationships are but nobody talks about the struggle of long distance friendships. I would give my left leg right now to just be able to sit in our pjs and watch movies or to just be able to give a big fucking hug.
